Before I saw this video, I was sure dogs are the best greeters! If you’ve ever had a dog, you know what I’m talking about. Generally speaking, canines tend to get over-excited whenever their owners get home. It doesn’t matter if they’ve been away from half an hour of if they’ve been gone most of the day, a dog will always get insanely happy to see them when they get home.
If you ask me, it’s one of the best things that come with being a dog owner. Dogs may be awesome greeters, but the cockatoo in the video below is definitely giving canines a run for their money. His reaction when he sees his owner arrive home from work is downright adorable.
The bird can’t seem to be able to contain his excitement. The cockatoo grants his owner an over-the-top greeting that will most likely want to get a cockatoo as your next animal companion. To make matters even more adorable, the cockatoo had actually been sitting by the window the entire day, hoping to see his owner return home back to him. It’s clearly that the two share a special connection, and we’re lucky to be able to witnesses a small part of their friendship in action!
